Mary Lisa Bell joined Nelson Law Group, PC in January 2017. She brings to the table over 30 years of experience in Family Law, Estate Planning, and Probate, which includes spending several years working as a paralegal for a family law firm in McKinney. It was during that time she got to know Brett Nelson, and when the opportunity came up to work alongside him, she eagerly accepted it.
Originally from Pampa, Texas, Mary Lisa attended Texas Tech University then moved to Dallas in 1994 to begin her stellar career. She developed a reputation for being a quick learner, propelling her career as a paralegal. Her extensive work history includes 10 years at Sullivan, Parker & Cook law firm in downtown Dallas. She also spent time at Plano-based Gay, McCall, Isaacks, Gordon, & Roberts and the Puhl, Berbarie, & Hewett law offices in McKinney.
Her vast knowledge, compassion, and enduring commitment toward fighting for family rights made Mary Lisa a must-have addition to the Nelson Law family.
Mary Lisa and husband, Tom, live in McKinney and have been happily married for 25 years. They have two sons and two adorable dogs. Mary Lisa’s hobbies include gardening, reading, and cheering for her beloved Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys.
