Blake Yokeley

Blake is one of Nelson Law Group’s skilled file clerks. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Blake joined our firm in June 2026 and intends to apply to law school so that he can one day follow in the footsteps of our experienced attorneys. In the meantime, his role at Nelson Law is providing valuable first-hand experience. His responsibilities include reviewing, analyzing, organizing, and properly filing nearly every document that comes through our firm, whether it originates from clients, local courthouses, or from opposing counsel.

While Blake insists that he’s not one of those people who knew what career they wanted to pursue from a young age, he always had an interest in the law. That interest grew throughout college, and he knew how important it would be to get his foot in the door at a reputable firm as quickly as possible. Thanks to a connection through his fiancée’s father, who knew founding partner Brett Nelson, Blake says he now has the exact opportunity he was looking for at Nelson Law.

A native of Klein, Texas, Blake is a devoted fan of all Houston sports teams. He loves golfing, working out, and reading, though what he truly enjoys is spending time with his fiancée, Mallory.
