Position Overview
Nelson Law Group PC seeks an experienced and driven Family Law and/or Litigation Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering excellent legal representation. This position offers the opportunity to handle a diverse caseload and work collaboratively with a talented team of legal professionals.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of family law and/or litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
• Provide legal counsel and strategy to clients, ensuring high client service.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to develop case strategies.
• Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends.
• Participate in business development activities, including networking and community involvement, to build and maintain client relationships.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Texas and in good standing.
• 5-10 years of experience in family law and/or litigation.
• Proven courtroom and trial experience.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
