Kara Lee
File Clerk
Kara is Nelson Law Group’s newest file clerk and a future law student with aspirations to follow in the footsteps of our growing team of successful attorneys. She joined the firm in October 2024 after graduating with honors from Texas State University with a criminal justice degree and a minor in forensic psychology. Before coming to us, she interned at the prestigious Comal County District Attorney’s Office in New Braunfels, Texas. Her duties at Nelson Law include organizing files, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting the needs of our attorneys and paralegals.
A Flower Mound native, Kara excelled academically and athletically, starring as a softball player for the Lady Jaguars. Her strong work ethic carried into college, where she maintained a 4.0 GPA while balancing a busy schedule. She authored a thesis paper titled “Juror Evaluation of Eyewitness Evidence,” and served as a board member of the Peer Review Board for two years. Kara was also a Young Life leader and was selected for the General Education Council during her senior year.
When the opportunity arose to work at a law firm closer to home, Kara was eager to join Nelson Law.
In her free time, Kara enjoys playing in a slow-pitch softball league, staying active as a self-proclaimed health and fitness enthusiast, and spending time outdoors. She loves reading fantasy and historical fiction, traveling with her family, and caring for her two cats, Leta and Luna.
