Jodi Moss is a full-time paralegal with Nelson Law Group, P.C. and brings with her a well-rounded background in the legal world. Over the last several years, Jodi has assisted various firms and agencies throughout Dallas-Fort Worth in the specialty areas of family, business, personal injury, bankruptcy, civil law, and medical malpractice law. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies in 2010 and joined our family law firm in January 2017. She began her tenure in family law in Denton County and was excited to come back to Denton County with Brett to help as many families as they can.
What helps set Jodi apart with our clients is that she has been in many of their shoes. Her parents were divorced when she was 9 years old, and before that, they had separated three times. She has used those experiences to not only offer sound advice to our growing list of clients but also does so in a way that is compassionate and keeps the client and their family’s needs top of mind. Jodi is passionate about parents truly seeking the best interest of their children and themselves.
Jodi has always wanted to be that helping hand, the one that helps you up when you are stumbling. Before studying to be a paralegal, she graduated from nursing school when she was 20 and went on to specialize in critical care nursing at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. She is an avid dog owner. Jodi lives in Watauga with her husband, Tom. They’ve been married for 24 years and have one daughter, Emma (19).
